I started playing at the age of 13.  I remember going to my friend’s house one day that had a Fender Strat and was playing Clapton, Sabbath, and Van Halen. I could not believe some of the sounds my friend was getting out of that guitar.  …  I was hooked!  I soon started taking guitar lessons and getting more involved with rock music. 

During high school and college I formed a band with my best friend called “Heaven's Gates”.  We played clubs throughout those years.  After moving to Virginia from Dallas I began looking for a new band.  With my Zach Wylde style and love for Trial by Fire’s genre of music, my addition to TBF was a great fit.  Joining TBF in February, 2011, I’ve already had a few nicknames thrown at me including “Tool”, we’ll see what sticks!
