Jay has been playing drums since 1993. He has played in several locals bands since 1995. The first band "Velvet" 1995- 2004 was a great experience where Jay played at many clubs like the Black Cat in DC and the Otto Bar in Baltimore, Md. They also played in Richmond Va, Pittsburg Pa, Cleveland Oh and Buffalo Ny.  

In 2005 w/ "Long Since Driven" Jay played at The State Theater in Va. and The 9:30 Club in DC. Between these bands Jay has recorded five albums.  Most recently Jay has played along with Shawn in "Sonic Decay" and "Beautiful Discord"
